What is the minimum amount of time I can rent a storage unit?

Units are rented on a month-to-month basis.

Will my lease renew after 1 month?

Yes, your personal storage lease will automatically renew itself on a month-to-month basis.  You must provide written notification when you plan to vacate.

What size units do you have?

We have many different units ranging in size from 5' x 5' (enough to free up that closet!) to 50' x 50', for large personal storage and business needs.  You can find specialty units that are temperature controlled and/or have shelving with file storage boxes.  Tell us what you're particular needs are and we will help you get what is right for you!

Do I need insurance?

Many of our customers take advantage of Stowaway Self Storage's property protection policies provided through an independent company. Policies provide replacement values in the amounts of $3,000.00 & $5,000.00.  Most homeowners and renters policies cover self storage to a limited degree. We recommend you check with your insurance provider for advice on adequate coverage.

What is required to rent a unit?

Come in and complete a rental agreement in person.  At the time of personal storage unit rental you will be required to provide two addresses in the US (one for emergencies), a copy of your license or photo ID, and a valid phone number where we can reach you.  Payment is in advance by cash, check, money order or major credit card.
